ALL THE RAGE THROW DOWN AT ROTA GALLERY

It was just another Friday night in Plattsburgh NY... EXCEPT FOR THE FACT THAT HxC BAND: 'ALL THE RAGE' WAS ROCKING THE FUDGE OUT DOWN AT THAT ROTAGILLA STUDIO AND GALLERY 19 CLINTON STREET. Stepping into the art gallery filled with rowdy and substance free patrons, my earplugs experienced good use as All The Rage blasted throbbing sound-waves through the air. The crowd surged with head-banging babes, and body-slamming boys (& gentlemen.) Could the crowd understand the vocalist's aggressive messages? Who cares! All The Rage energized all in attendance.

Local Troublemakers Release New Album!

This was recorded by the Bassist for some cat-obsessed band I can't remember the name of. Guitarist Alex Cribb reports that it was recorded using a "bunch of shit". Be sure to check these hooligans out at The ROTA Studios and Gallery on March  3rd, with some other local musicians! "All the Rage" brings death-metal mayhem to ROTA

11.11.11 - Local metal band "All the Rage" injected the ROTA Studio and Gallery (19 Clinton street, Plattsburgh NY) with a mighty dose of death-metal music. This was one of the venue's loudest, hottest, and most aggressive shows to date.

"All the Rage" shared the stage with "Avernus Ortus" and "Implode the Abyss".

"Return Of The Fly" makes ROTA Debut!

Halloween is upon you. Feel it creeping up your leg, and nibbling your itty-bits. The cold chill of evil penetrates pulses through your bloodstream. There is no escaping the terror of the night.


In other news, Misfits tribute band; "Return Of The Fly" made their debut appearance at The Rota Studios and Gallery at 19 Clinton Street in downtown Plattsburgh.

For their debut appearance at The Rota Studios And Gallery, Return Of The Fly dressed as women. The crowd was immediately aroused, but suddenly confused when they realized that the treat came with a trick.

Aggressive dancing was inevitable.

No persons were hurt, although the band was spit on several times by a rowdy/angry fan.

Local supergroup; Doomfu*k rocked The ROTA Gallery (19 Clinton Street) in Plattsburgh, NY.


Also on the bill:

• super-collective noise-rockers; Tranquilizer Full Of (T.F.O)
• up-and-coming group; Implode The Abyss 
• grind-core group on tour from Georgia; Dead In The Dirt. 

Doomfu*k's lineup consisted of a standup bass player, a live drummer, a guitarist , a violinist , a vocalist, and a noise-technician/turtablist. The group featured several interesting alternative musical techniques, such as playing guitar with a pencil, and incorporating a shopping cart into their stage setup. The event saw an excellent turnout.


Nino Cuzco (French + Spanish education major at SUNY Plattsburgh) had this to say about the event:

"Matt added a nice punk flavor with his drumming, in contrast to Shannon's elegant violin technique."
